Pie Making Class at I Love Pie Bakeshop: Strawberry Matcha Cheesecake
Join us at I Love Pie Bakeshop for a hands-on baking class that blends rich, creamy cheesecake with the bright flavors of strawberry and the earthy elegance of matcha.
In this 2.5 to 3-hour workshop, you'll learn how to create a stunning deep-dish cheesecake completely from scratch. We’ll start with a live demonstration of our graham cracker crust, showing you how to achieve the perfect buttery, golden base. Then it’s your turn: you’ll mix, press, and prepare your own 9-inch crust.
Next, we’ll make a silky strawberry matcha cheesecake batter, balancing the sweetness of strawberries with the subtle, sophisticated notes of matcha. You’ll fill your crust and learn the techniques for baking a smooth, crack-free cheesecake with the perfect texture.
Once baked and chilled, we’ll finish your cheesecake with a layer of strawberry jam and a beautiful halo of freshly whipped cream, creating a dessert that’s as eye-catching as it is delicious.
You’ll go home with: Your own freshly made 9” deep dish Strawberry Matcha Cheesecake, recipes for all items made in class for recreating it at home, and the confidence to make bakery-quality cheesecake from scratch

All sales are final, and we do not offer refunds for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to, illness, scheduling conflicts, travel issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. Due to our small class sizes, each reservation secures a spot that cannot be easily filled on short notice. However, reservations are transferable—if you are unable to attend, you may send someone else in your place. Please notify us in advance if you choose to transfer your reservation.
